1-Year Warranty on Every Job

Our standard warranty

Every repair and installation by Literally Garage Door is backed by a one-year warranty on labor and materials. If something we installed or repaired fails under normal use during the warranty period, we come back and correct it at no additional charge.

• Labor: Covered for 1 year from the service date.
• Materials we supplied: Covered for 1 year from the service date.
• Manufacturer warranties: Most parts (springs, openers, doors) also carry a separate manufacturer warranty. Where applicable, manufacturer terms run in addition to ours - typically 1 - 5 years depending on brand and component.
• Receipt is the source of truth: Any job-specific terms beyond the standard 1-year coverage are written on your receipt at the time of service. If anything is unclear, call us before signing.

What is covered

• Spring replacements (torsion and extension)
• Opener repairs and installations
• Cable, roller, hinge, and track repairs
• Sensor alignment and safety system work
• Full garage door installations (workmanship on our install; door itself separately covered by the manufacturer)

What is not covered

• Damage from misuse, accidents, or impact
• Damage from acts of nature (severe storms, flooding, falling debris)
• Power surges and electrical events outside our control
• Normal wear and tear on components we did not install
• Modifications or repairs performed by anyone other than Literally Garage Door
• Pre-existing conditions identified on the original service call

How to file a warranty claim

Call (551) 279-6408 or email literallygaragedoor@gmail.com with your receipt date and a brief description of the problem. We respond within 24 hours and schedule a return visit, usually within 24 - 48 hours. If the issue falls under warranty, the repair is free.

Keeping your warranty valid

Don't modify the work we installed (no DIY changes to springs, cables, or opener wiring). Annual maintenance helps too - our tune-up service checks balance, lubrication, and safety sensors so small issues don't escalate.
